We are absolutely delighted to be able to tell you that at the 2023 Annual British Equestrian Trade Association (BETA) Awards in Warwickshire, Bedmax founder and MD, Tim Smalley, was awarded the highest equestrian industry accolade – the 2023 BETA Lifetime Achievement Award.
This award is given to an individual who has made an outstanding long term contribution to the equestrian industry, and in making the presentation the Judges said: “Tim has single-handedly redefined the business of equine bedding, and his contribution is widely recognised and acknowledged throughout the equine industry both here in the UK and Internationally.”Tim accepted the award on behalf of everyone who has played a part in helping to make Bedmax a success over the past 23 years.“Bedmax is very far from being a single-handed achievement. I owe a huge debt of thanks to so many people who have been involved in building the business, including my family, the directors, and all our production, sales and offices teams. I need to thank the retailers who have distributed our products across the UK, and most of all we owe our success to all the loyal customers in every walk of equestrian life who’ve chosen Bedmax. I am looking forward very much to continuing this journey together.”
