Significant Sales Appointment for Bedmax

Bedmax has today announced the appointment of experienced equestrian sales specialist, Suzi Law, as head of regional sales in the UK. Bedmax is the UK’s foremost producer of equine bedding, and in this role, Suzi will be responsible for designing and delivering a company sales strategy that falls in line with the overall business plan to nurture growth and re-evaluate the trajectory of strategic opportunity. As part of her role Suzi will be responsible for the company’s proactive sales activity across the north of England.

Suzi’s wealth of sales experience and all-encompassing understanding of the equestrian industry comes from almost 30 years in sales roles. In her previous position at TopSpec Equine Ltd, Suzi progressed through the ranks from business development manager to northern sales manager where she led a team of business development managers and key accounts across the north of England. Prior to that, she spent four years as store manager at WCF Pet and Equestrian in Lanark.

Speaking of her new appointment, Suzi commented: “I am delighted to be taking this next step in my career within an industry I am so passionate about. Bedmax is at the top of the game in terms of equine and animal bedding and I’m excited to see what the future holds. From South Lanarkshire, Suzi has amassed several industry accredited awards including Virbac SQP of the Year in 2011 and BETA Equine Sales Representative of the Year in 2016, and as a customer-orientated professional she thrives on leading teams to meet and exceed objectives.

On announcing this new appointment, Bedmax managing director Tim Smalley said: “Suzi is going to be an excellent addition to the Bedmax team in this newly created role within the company. She has many years of experience and an in-depth knowledge of the industry, and I believe she can offer an innovative approach to our sales strategies and customer care which will be integral to our business growth going forward.”

In her new role, Suzi’s key responsibilities will involve developing business relationships with key accounts in order to implement growth and retention strategies, as well as working closely with the senior management team to achieve the operational delivery of sales performance. Suzi will also ensure that the highest level of customer care is provided at all times, and coordinate the sales team to optimise communication and promote a team-working environment for the benefit of the company, its team of staff and its customers.
