Bedmax shavings has announced the appointment of John Grosvalds as their new regional Sales Manager for the Midlands, East Anglia and South East of England. John is joining the Bedmax team having worked at NuuMed Saddles for the last four years as Sales Manager for UK and Ireland.
Bedmax is the UK’s foremost producer of equine bedding and as a member of the company’s UK wide sales team, John will be responsible for developing and maintaining sales within his area, of the portfolio of Bedmax products. From his Buckinghamshire base, he will provide customers with ongoing support, and deliver the high-level service for which Bedmax is renowned.
Bedmax, which holds two Royal Warrants for the supply of horse bedding to Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness Prince Charles, is the industry leader with a global reputation for producing the very highest quality horse bedding from which all stabled horses can benefit.
Its portfolio of products includes: Bedmax – the company’s original shavings; Littlemax – finer shavings; Stockmax – pine bedding for game birds, poultry and other animals; recently launched Strawmax – a straw pellet bedding for horses, and Hotmax – Woodsure accredited fuel logs made from the dust extracted from the production of the bedding products.
A saddle fitter, John has a strong equine background and grew up riding. He has passed his interest of all things equine on to his daughter, who has a degree in equine science. Having spent nine years working for Barbour before NuuMed, John has extensive experience of representing market-leading brands within the equine and wider rural retail and wholesale sectors, supporting small independent companies up to the larger multiples.
In taking up his role, John said; “I am absolutely delighted to have been given the opportunity to join Bedmax. The company has a tremendous reputation and tremendous products, and I am especially excited to have the opportunity to tell customers about Strawmax straw pellets, which have recently been launched.
