Every year we extract a total of more than 3,000 tonnes of wood dust during the manufacture of BEDMAX shavings.
Until re
cently this presented us with a sizeable waste disposal challenge. But now we've found a sustainable, eco-friendly solution. We're turning it into fuel logs.
HOTMAX Fuel Logs provide an ideal source of heat for the home - perfect for woodburners, open fires, multi fuel stoves, and during the summer for BBQs and chimeneas.
They're ideal because they're very dry and very dense, so they generate very high heat, very, very quickly. They're ideal because they're clean and easy to use, they're fast and they're easy to light.
They're an ideal, sustainable source of heat because they're made from a recycled waste wood product, because of their low emissions and ash residue, and because the timber we make BEDMAX from (and therefore HOTMAX too) is sourced from renewable forestry suppliers as close to our three production plants as possible.
With very few exceptions, people who have tried HOTMAX love it. They love the quick heat and they really love the fact that this heat comes from absolutely natural, completely sustainable recycled wood dust.
